About Us
Mission Statement
The Hazlet Township Police Benevolent Association is a labor union comprised of sworn police officers of the Hazlet Township Police Department located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. We have been incorporated and serving our members and the public since August 14, 1969.
As the bargaining unit for the Hazlet Township Police Officers, we negotiate labor contracts with the township, ensure compliance, and take necessary action to protect officers when needed.
As a labor union, we are dedicated to being proactive concerning working conditions, salaries, benefits, and pensions. It is the union’s duty to strive to protect the rights of the officers of the Hazlet Township Police Department according to our labor contract, department rules and regulations, and local, state, and federal law.
The Hazlet Township Officers are dedicated to serving and protecting the community where we live and work. We are committed to the prevention of crime, protection of life and property, safety, enforcement of laws and ordinances, and the safeguarding of constitutional rights and guarantees. It is also in our best interest to give back to the community by making charitable donations to various local entities such as scholarships, youth organizations, and other charitable organizations.
We hope you find our website interesting and informative. In addition, we have created a local business directory of our proud business sponsors for your convenience. We will be updating our website periodically to keep the public and our officers informed. Thank you for your interest in the Hazlet Township Police
Benevolent Association.
